Once again the gallant Tim amazes MPA by fixing the impossible.
Customer brought in a VIZIO tablet that would not charge. Tim notices that the Micro USB port has been cracked and while looking at the tablet the USB port pops off into his hands. MPA orders a Micro USB port compatible with the VIZIO.
Once the Micro USB port arrived, Tim took the port which is smaller than a penny, and soldered it back into place. VIZIO has a unique interface on their charging ports, so he had to modify the after-market Micro USB port that was purchased.
Tim had to desolder the old piece to make sure all of it was out. Once he soldered the new piece in after the modify, he plugged it in and it started charging!!!!
